Delivery Information
UK 2nd Class Delivery is a flat rate of £3.95. (inc VAT) per order. (Normally delivered within 2-4 working days from dispatch, except at busy times of the year.)
UK 1st Class Delivery is a flat rate of £4.95 (inc VAT) per order. (Normally delivered within 1-2 working day from dispatch, except at busy times of the year.)
Spend over £65 and UK 2nd Class Delivery is FREE. (UK mainland only)
Please note: Delivery to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands may incur an addtional delivery cost. If applicable the customer will be contacted prior to dispatch.
Our only guaranteed service is our Next Working Day Delivery.
UK delivery orders received Mon- Fri before 12 noon, are usually dispatched the same day (excludes Bank Holidays) and delivery takes approx 1-4 days from date of dispatch (depending on what delivery service you select).Please note delivery at busy periods like Christmas may take longer.
Do you have a next day delivery service?
Our UK Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery is a flat rate of £12.00 (inc VAT) per order. Orders must be received before 12 noon Mon - Thurs (excludes Bank Holidays). The Gardeners Shop UK are not responsible for orders that can not be delivered if no one is available to accept delivery.
Depending on weight, size and order value, your order will either be sent Royal Mail or Parcel Force.
Our worldwide delivery is £14.10 (inc VAT) This cost covers most small worldwide orders. Larger worldwide orders are subject to a delivery quote, which is based on the size and weight of the order. (Quotes are sent via email and are valid for 30 days from date of the email.)
How long will my worldwide delivery take?
Worldwide deliveries are usually sent via Airmail and a signature will be required. Delivery times will vary, depending on where the order is being delivered. Usually delivery can take approx 1-2 weeks. from date of dispatch. However, delays may occur if the order is held up in customs. Please note: The customer is liable for any custom duty costs.
Can I send my order to an alternative delivery address?
You can send your order to an alternative address. If paying using Paypal, please note Paypal do not allow you to enter an alternative delivery address on their payment page. However, we will have the alternative delivery address (that you have entered on your order), already on our system.
Do you require a signature on delivery?
Some orders may require a signature on delivery. Please make sure that there is someone available to accept delivery.
Can I enter specific delivery instructions to my order?
In the checkout process you can enter specific delivery instructions for your order. We are very happy to add these delivery instructions to the front of parcels. However, The Gardeners Shop UK can not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the unattended parcel. Delivery instruction messages can not be added to Worldwide Delivery parcels or UK Next Day Delivery parcels, which both require signatures.
Can my parcel be re-delivered?
If the customer is not in to accept delivery of the parcel, a card is usually put through your letterbox by the courier. This will give instructions on how to arrange a re-delivery or where to collect the parcel from the local depot. The Gardeners Shop UK is not responsible for any delays that may occur due to re-delivery or the cost(s) of re-sending the parcel to the requested destination, in the unlikehood the parcel is returned to The Gardeners Shop UK
