How do I make a purchase?

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse The Gardeners Shop UK and add any item you

wish to buy to your shopping cart, by pressing the Add Shopping Cart button (situated on each
product page.) You can view your shopping cart at any time by pressing the View Cart link at the top

of the page. When you have completed your shopping, press the Checkout link at the top of the

page. (The checkout link is also available on the View Cart Page.)

What happens after I have pressed the Checkout button?

Step 1: You will be asked if you have any specific delivery instructions or personal message you

wish to add to your order. (If you do, please enter the message into the text box. If you do not, please
leave blank.) Then tick the Yes or No box, if you would like to be added to The Gardeners Shop
UK mailing list. Press the continue button.

Step 2: Fill in your Billing Address and Delivery Address. Press continue.
(If paying online by credit/debit card, please ensure the billing name and address match
exactly the name and address on your credit card statement.)

Step 3: Your Order Summary page will appear showing what you have in your shopping cart and
below this will be four buttons. You are asked to select an option by pressing the required button.

If you select the EDPQ Pay by credit or debit card online button you will be linked to the

Barclaycard EPDQ secure server, which is 100% secure, where you will be asked to enter your
credit/debit card details.

Can I pay by cheque?

Yes press Pay Via Cheque button on the Order Summary page in the checkout process

The Gardeners Shop UK address details will appear and your order will be stored on our system
awaiting payment by cheque. The Gardeners Shop UK accepts UK crossed cheques. The order will
not be dispatched until the cheque has been cleared. Cheque clearance can  take up to 7days.

Can I place an order by phone?

You can place an order over the telephone Mon-Fri 9 - 5pm. Telephone Number is: 020 8777 4332

You can telephone us with your order and credit/debit card details and we will process the whole
order for you.  Alternatively, you can process your order and on the Order Summary page
in the checkout process press the Pay Via Telephone button. Your order information will be stored 
on our system and then you need to telephone us and just give us your credit/debit card details.

How will I know if my order is in stock?

In the event an item is temporarily out of stock we will notify you by email of any delay and dispatch

the item as soon as it is in stock.

My order is for a gift, will there be price tags or an invoice with the order?
There are no price tags on our items. If your order is being sent to alterative delivery address, then a
delivery slip will be sent with the parcel and an invoice is sent to the billing address. If you do not

want an invoice sent with your order, please let us know when ordering.

I have not received an order confirmation
Once you have completed your online order you will automatically be sent an order confirmation via
email. If you have not received the email, this maybe because you have entered your email address
incorrectly in the checkout process. Please contact us and we will confirm your order.

I have not received my order                    

If you have not received your order please ring our Customer Care telephone number 020 8777 4332.

Can I return or exchange my order?   
You can return or exchange your order within 14 days from receipt of order. The item(s) must be
returned unused and in original packaging to receive a full refund/exchange** Return delivery costs
are non-refundable. Please notify us via email sales@thegardenersshop.co.uk  or telephone 
020 8777 4332.** Only the cost of the product is refunded on orders delivered outside the UK

A returned or exchanged item is the customer's responsibility until received by The Gardeners Shop
UK.We therefore advise you use an insured delivery method to return an item to The Gardeners Shop
UK as we are not accountable for parcels being returned that are lost or damaged in transit.

The supply of goods made to the consumers specifications or clearly personalised or which by

reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

I have received a Gardeners Shop UK gift voucher how do I use it?
The Gardeners Shop UK Gift Voucher(s) can be redeemed against any item on The Gardeners Shop
UK web shop. Each voucher has an expiry date of one year from date of purchase and an
unique voucher code, which is needed to use the voucher. Just enter your order online and on the
checkout payment page please press "Pay Via Telephone" button. Then contact us on 0208 777
4332 with your Voucher Code. Each voucher can only be used once and the full amount of the
voucher must be used in one transaction

My order was damaged in transit what do I do?                 

In the unlikely event you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 2 days of receipt of order
via email: sales@thegardenersshop.co.uk or phone 020 8777 4332. We can then arrange for a refund
or replacement, if in stock. Photographic proof of the damage may be needed or we may require the
damaged item to be returned to us. In this case The Gardeners Shop UK would reimburse you for the
reasonable delivery cost of the returned damaged item.
