| Nemasys Leatherjacket Killer |
| Leatherjackets are the larval stage of the crane fly or daddy-lon-legs. They are legless and greyish black in colour. In summer the leatherjackets pupate. In August they lay eggs into the lawn and within 2 weeks the eggs hatch and feed throughout the winter, ready to gorge on grass roots in spring. Grass growth slows and yellow patches appear. Also grass can easily be pulled up with little or no root growth. There is no chemical control for Leatherjackets. |
