Onion Nets (Pack of 5) - Onion Storage

 * 5 x strong woven polypropylene nets supplied.

 * Approx size of each net 52cm x 85cm

 * Onion nets have a pull tie top, can be hung up if required.

 * Ideal for the storage of onions, shallots, garlic & other root vegetables.

 * The nets will last for years.

   Please note: The onion nets are NOT suitable for the storage of potatoes.

   Potatoes should ideally be stored in Hessian Sacks

   Onion Harvesting & Storing Tips:
   Harvest onions when the tops have flopped over and gone brown in Summer.
   Lift out crop and leave onions to dry for approx 1-2 weeks or inside on a sunny windowsill.
   To clean onions rub off bits of dired skin and remove stems.
   Discard any onions that are damaged or diseased.
   Store dry onions in nets in a cool, dry ventilated  place away from direct sunlight or frost.
   Never store onions near potatoes, which give off moisture and gas that spoil the onions.
   Stronger flavoured onions last longer in storage than sweet onions.

    Please note these nets are currently only available in the colour red
