The Sussex Trug has been made in Sussex for at least 200 years, becoming world renowned for its strength, durability and usefulness.
 
* Trug size 46cm x 26cm (18" x 10") with feet.
 
* Flat trug, ideal for gathering freshly cut short stem flowers.
 
* Hand crafted by Sussex Trug Maker.
 
* Traditional methods, tools & materials used.
 
* Handle & rim cleaved from coppiced sweet chestnut.
 
* Trug made from cricket - bat willow.
  
The wood is untreated. It is not necessary to treat the wood. However, if you wish to do so, it is recommended that linseed oil is used on the trug once a year.
