Sussex Trugs have been made in Sussex for at least 200 years. They are known for their strength, durability and usefulness. The Sussex garden trug size 7: is approx  59cm x 30cm (23"x12") with feet. (our most popular size trug for allotment growers) and handmade by a Sussex trug maker, using traditional methods, tools and materials. The handle and rim are cleaved from coppiced sweet chestnut and the trug is made from cricket bat willow.
